The Embassy of the Principality of Monaco would like to inform all Monegasque nationals and residents that the French government has announced on the 11th of March that all travellers from the United Kingdom will no longer be required to have a ‘compelling reason’ for travelling.

It is however important to note that any travellers over the age of 11 will still be required to present a negative PCR test taken less than 72 hours before departure and will also need to complete a sworn health declaration.
You can download the relevant form from the following link: https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/Actualites/L-actu-du-Ministere/Certificate-of-international-travel

These measures (PCR test and sworn declaration) will also apply to any travellers who have already been vaccinated.
Further details can be found on the website of the French Consulate: https://uk.ambafrance.org/COVID-19-rules-for-travel-to-France-and-the-UK

All travellers are required to contact the Covid-19 centre upon arrival in the Principality, more details on the current local restrictions will be found here: https://covid19.mc/en/i-come-from-abroad/

Under current guidelines in England, only those with legally permitted reasons will be able to travel from England to France and will be required to complete a declaration form for international travel: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-declaration-form-for-international-travel

A list of the legally permitted reasons for travel can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home#international-travel

For all international arrivals to England (including UK nationals), you will be required to follow the current procedures:

Please note that separate advice applies for travel to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland which can be found in the links provided on the government website: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/how-to-quarantine-when-you-arrive-in-england
