The Embassy of Monaco in London welcomes the International University of Monaco

The aim of the event was to bring together different generations of the IUM community, while also giving prospective students an overview of the academic and professional environment offered by the University, as well as the international opportunities it can provide.

Her Excellency Mrs Evelyne Genta, Ambassador of Monaco to the United Kingdom, opened the evening with a welcoming speech, highlighting the importance of such moments of exchange, which help strengthen the ties between Monaco, its academic institutions, and their international network.

She also recalled the role of the Embassy, which remains at the disposal of Monegasque nationals, residents, and this broader community, and works to strengthen relations between the Principality, IUM, and its network in the United Kingdom.

During the evening, several representatives of IUM spoke to present the University’s activities and illustrate the richness of its network:

- Mr Mario Damiani, Head of Development, who contributes to the strategic development and international outreach of IUM;

- Ms Viola Hillmer, Head of Alumni Relations and Career Center Advisor, who supports graduates and students in their professional development while nurturing this international network;

- Mr Gregory Moscato, Director and Professor of Finance, whose academic expertise and commitment actively contribute to the institution’s reputation for excellence.

Their interventions highlighted the strength of the IUM network, as well as the diversity of its alumni’s career paths, who are now located across the world.

Following the speeches, participants were able to engage in informal discussions, share their experiences, and create new connections in a warm and open atmosphere conducive to dialogue.

This evening thus illustrated the dynamism of the IUM community and the importance of maintaining lasting ties among its members, whether they are former, current, or future students.

In the lead-up to the event, the Embassy had also made its premises available to allow Mr Mario Damiani to conduct interviews with prospective students, providing a privileged setting for these individual exchanges.
