Embassy Seasonal Closures and End of Year Celebrations

The Embassy of the Principality of Monaco will be closed during the Christmas and New Year Period from Monday 23^rd of December and will reopen on the 2^nd of January 2020 at 9am. During the Embassy closure our telephone lines will remain open for emergencies.

The Embassy of Monaco participated in End of Year Celebrations:

H.E. Mrs Evelyne Genta attended the annual Diplomatic Corps Reception and Dinner at Buckingham Palace on the 11^th of December 2019 hosted by Her Majesty The Queen. In addition to H.M. Queen Elizabeth II, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also in attendance.

The Ambassador had the opportunity of speaking with H.R.H. The Prince of Wales. Prince Charles reiterated his interest in organising a visit to Monaco, in particular to have the opportunity to visit the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and hear about the Foundation’s goals and objectives.

On the same evening, Embassy staff members were invited by the Europe Directorate to attend an informal Reception at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and had the opportunity of meeting several members of the Europe Directorate as well as the Head of the dedicated Western Mediterranean Team whose efforts focus on specific countries including Monaco.
