HSH Prince Albert II attends the 2019 Autosport Awards honouring 90 years of the Monaco Grand Prix with the Gregor Grant Award

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II and Her Excellency Mrs Evelyne Genta attended the 30th edition of the Autosport Awards which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel near Park Lane and celebrated this year’s top achievements in motorsport.
During the ceremony, Sir Jackie Stewart presented Prince Albert II with the Gregor Grant Award (named after the Founder and Editor of Autosport magazine). This prestigious award marked the 90th anniversary of the Monaco Grand Prix.
Sir Jackie Stewart, himself a three-time Grand Prix winner commented "Monaco is the one to win. If you haven't won at Monaco, there's something wrong with your CV! It's the most glamorous, the most exciting."
In His acceptance speech, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco said "It's a great privilege. I knew what Jackie thought of [the Monaco Grand Prix], but it's so great to hear how much it means not only to Formula 1 but the whole of motorsport. The history and everything that makes this grand prix so special, we're so proud to be able to contribute."
