The Embassy of Monaco in the United Kingdom welcomed the Monaco Boys Choir in London on Sunday 7th July for the beginning of their tour of concerts in Great Britain.

The Choir performed on the same evening by special authorisation at the Chapel of St. Peter-Ad- Vincula at the Tower of London. This historic Chapel was built in the 16th century during the reign of King Henry VIII and is the resting place of many prominent figures of that era. Forty guests invited by the Embassy as well as members of the Chapel congregation were given access to the Tower of London after hours and enjoyed the first concert of the Monaco Boys Choir in the United Kingdom in a unique location. The next day, the Choir performed at the Swiss Church of London in presence of several Ambassadors and representatives of the London diplomatic community. This edifice, a place of worship which is still in use, was recently renovated in order to welcome artistic events and offered a great acoustic to the young singers.

The Monaco Boys Choir will carry on their tour with a concert at the Notre Dame de France Church, their third and last show in the capital before heading to Northern England and Scotland.
