Find out all the information about Tier 5 (Youth Mobility Scheme) on the website www.gov.uk
Conditions
You can apply if you:
- Are a Monegasque national
- Are aged 18 to 30
- Have £1,890 in savings
- Want to live and work in the UK for up to 2 years
You can’t apply if you have:
- Children who live with you
- Children you’re financially responsible for
- Already been in the UK under the scheme or in the former "working holidaymaker" category
- Already worked in the UK
Visa application
The request can be made up to 3 months before your arrival in the United Kingdom.
The visa should be issued to you within 3 weeks.
The visa request must be made online on the website www.gov.uk.
When you have made your online request, you should print out the request form and select a meeting at the visa request centre in Paris (UK Application Centre) .
You can also pay online.
You will then receive an e-mail with an identification number, which you should keep, and a list of documents to be provided at the meeting.
You must attend the meeting in person in order to have your fingerprints and photo taken.
You must supply copies of any original documents that you wish to be returned. For this, you should enclose a stamped addressed envelope bearing the name and address of the applicant, so the documents can be returned. Check with a post office that the stamps are sufficient for the weight of the documents.
You should also provide a second envelope that is large enough to contain all your documents.
Once the Embassy of the United Kingdom (in Paris) has received an application, it will decide whether an interview is necessary, and if so, you should expect a further delay.
Documents you must provide
You’ll need to provide:
- A current passport and your former passports if possible
- A passport size photograph
- A bank statement showing you have at least £1,890 in savings in English or with a certified translation
You may need to provide additional documents depending on your circumstances.
If you do not provide all the required documents, your application may be denied.
